Quilts in the Barn: A Treat

Quilts in the Barn, what a treat! At the weekend I went to Quilts in the Barn exhibition with quilts by Secret Sewing Sisterhood. The weather was horrible that weekend, but rain or storm wouldn't stop us that day and it's worth every drop of the rain we went through. Linda the hostess with the mostess and her team did a fantastic job and they raised over $10,000 for Breast Cancer research.  Below are quilts from the exhibition for your eye candy...Enjoy
This is the treat we had with our cup of tea. Aren't they the cutest cupcakes you have ever seen?
Deb and her gorgeous Blue and Yellow quilt I thought Kathie would like to see it. I know she loves this quilt and is making one too.
Two versions of Sarah Morrell  quilts I would like to make it one day. I even got a pattern pack ready. At first I thought I like the pink version, but when I saw the blue one, now I'm not sure which I like better!
The famous Civil War Bride Quilt by Corliss of Threadbear was there too. It is a quilt that started up a blog with members from all over the world.
Linda never misses a bead. She was ready with her camera. Here we were Linda, Di and myself.
Home Sweet Home quilt is for my friend Ria in the Netherlands. I know she collected fabric ready to make this quilt.
Corliss set up her booth here too. On the left is Corliss' new design English Baskets. I just love the colour she used in this quilt.
I hope you enjoy the exhibition I brought you and if you are making a donation to any breast cancer research foundation anywhere in the world, please let Linda know through her blog; she will then add it to the grand total.
