I have posted this once before without much explaination. Now after a quilt viewing day on Monday I added another closed up of these two blocks for you to have a closer look. There is a story behind every quilt. This one has a long story to go with it, but unfortunately I couldn't cut and paste it from the word doc. so one day when I have a bit more time I will retype it to share with you.
This block is called Seven Sands to represents the 7 Emirates of the United Arab Emirates and the life style of the UAE. Designed by Natima
This is a dancing girl made to represent the month of Ramadan in Egypt. Designed by Rebecca Colstock.
