Congratulations to the Royal couple Kate Middleton and Prince William on their wedding day this afternoon. We spent three hours watching the Royal wedding on the television. The scene ended on the balcony of Buckingham Palace where the couple kissed twice. One up on his parents Princes Diana and Prince Charles in 1981. There is something about this couple that I feel they will be happy ever after together.

My DH could not have cared less and went off to work without a glance at the TV. I got up at 4:40am to watch though.

i was awake at 4am so i turned on the tv. it was nice to see the happiness of all the people watching. a switch from what's been on the news lately.
How wonderful for you....to be able to enjoy a toast of your own with Mr. Notjustnat!! I too watched and watched and watched. I've become a bit cynical after the 1981 wedding but I so hope and pray and pray and pray this has a happy in it... first thing I did notice on the balcony, it was William doing most of the lean in for the kiss, unlike in 1981, when it was Di who was putting in all of the lean for the balcony kiss. Hear hear and toast for more cheer!!

It was fun to watch from afar. We loved the choir singing. Hubby actually commented he would go to church just to listen to them sing. May they live happily ever after.

I sat glued to the TV for hours too. Swept up in it all....it was wonderful and like you I think they will have a wonderful life together as they are good friends and obviously in love. So nice to see.
We toast for a happy and healthy future for them both.
