Textile Trip 2014 Pt. 1

Where do I begin? Well, I'm back from the Textile Trip. I know the trip was only 3 weeks, but it was 3 weeks spent in 3 amazing countries. The trip was in planning for over a year.  The main aim of the trip was to discover textiles of Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. The planning was as much fun as the trip itself. Four of us are textile artists. Taking a trip with like minded friends was a bonus. The trip was tailor-made for us by Audley Travel, UK.

Apart from visiting textiles and handicrafts places. We also visited ruins, temples and some shows. A lot of shopping too of course! I will break the trip into a few posts and show you some of the photos I took. Today I just want to quickly say hi to let you know that I'm back!

The photo above consists of the stuff I brought home. I call this textile plus plus! I brought home some lovely vintage textile pieces and more. Since took this photo I found more things I packed with my clothes so I will have to take another photo of them and share with you later.

Hope everyone was well while I was gone. Thanks for dropping by to check on me and your comments. I will start visiting your blogs as soon as I get a chance.

Until next time
Nat
